CTS: Bristol

Had a truck down low on the apron move up onto the track. I was able to jerk the wheel to miss it, but this moved my truck offline for the entry to the next turn. I turned in anyway, and she came around. I tried to esc before the pack got to me, hope I didnt cause anyone any grief. Grats to Larry.

I'll take a 4th after starting at the back of the pack. I might have had a chance for at least 3rd if it wasn't for taking a spinning ride down the back stretch after Chris B truck wanted to take a 90 degree left. All in all, the race was what you expect from Britol.

Yeah, actually Tom I believe it was right. Sorry about that. It was horrible race for me from the point I got door slammed outta nowhere trying to pass a truck (i was clean i might add). Angry people shouldn't drive. ;) In your case, i had gotten fixed and back going and came off the turn not realizing i was still in 3rd and spun the tires clear off the corner. Truck just hooked as soon the tires started spinning and I was along for the ride. Sorry you were right there next to me.

Very messed up race for me. The truck did not handle well at all until close to the end of the race, but by then I had damage everywhere all around the truck. Very weird, the truck handled better when it was almost completly wrecked.

My teammates Jim and Tom gave me the equipment I needed to get the job done, so many thanks to them. I set out just to run a decent pace and not push too hard because I knew I would spin if I did (push too hard). At the start I was expecting to have to pit at the halfway mark but when I reached halfway I still had 60+ laps of fuel and the tires looked good so I decided to stay out and go for it. Toward the end I was slow on old tires so I pretty much rode the high groove to let everyone who was on fresher tires pass easily and somehow I got to the end.
Last race I said I didn`t like shootout style racing that much. I still don`t particularly care for it all that much but a win sure makes it alot more fun than crashing.
I dedicate this win to Tim, not because I won, but because I did it clean and fair and that is how he always raced.

Its was a surprise race for me. I had no idea I'd finish 2ed there going into that race. Like some others, I thought I'd have to pit but as half way came and went, I thought I'd just stay out and go for it. The last 30 or so laps I was hanging for deal fricking life! Ties so worn if I over drove it just by a hair, I knew I would go around. Hung on for a hard driven 2ed place finish. Wow, was I surprised!
