Way to go!

This race had a lot of promise. But I guess it wasn't meant to be. My car going into practice was a little on the slow side. I couldn't break out of the 27.0xx's--even though, when I practiced off-line, I was running 26.8xx's! Weird. Then Mark passed me a set up, I finally broke into the 26.7xx range. But it was loose! I added more wing and could run into the 26.6xx's.
The race was interesting. I qualified in the fourth row which was my best Q-effort to date. I felt pretty confident in my ride--I just didn't want to use everything up too early. I got into an early duel with Reed early on then decided to cool it. It was fun though--I just couldn't get ahead of the guy in front of me. Reed made it look easy!
Later into the race after I took some damage, I got into Barnes. Sorry about that Chris--One of them racing deals, I swear. I didn't do it on purpose! My car was handling like crap on that re-start. Some guys could pass me and the areo-effect was a piece of cake. Other times, the handling was so bad it scared the pissed out of me! I was trying to correct when your car moved onto a piece of track that I needed. :-) I was so mad I could eat barbed wire and piss napalm! I was thinking why did Barnes nail me. Then I thought, he probabaly thinks I came down on him. No win situation . . . Everybody's racing for position and/or points. So, I hope I didn't ruin your race too badly!
I'll do a better job next time. Promise!

This was my first COT race, and it was a blast. I got into Jim going into one, and just a little wiggle, no big deal, but four laps later I blew up! I must have damaged the grill and I didn’t bother to look, but I will next time.

Was an amazingg fist race to me!! 5 place in the end its like a win!!! My lap times wasnt good, but with luck at the last YF, guide me to my final position. Great battles on the track... Tkx everyone for this race. seee you all!

Thats 2 outta 3 races ive done where i touched the wall in blew the FR tire.Lil Hard mod to run...car feels like it runs around on a bubble under the center of the car. Ive run ALOT of oval racing in the last 6 years and I gotta tell ya...this is the hardest one for me to get a groove going.... car just seems Ill handling everywhere I go. Trucks are not so bad...but those cars are like barndoors. Couldnt even run 2 wide in Texas...you should be able to go 3 wide no problem. Looking forward to something new in 2010......

its np xavier... after watching replay i saw that it was just 2 guys going for the same piece of real estate. i was trying to at least get to 2nd there and when chris got under u low i thought i could do the same. but that was when u started to make ur turn for the dogleg and i was already there. i was mad at myself for messing up my car in the beginning anyway. it ended pretty much where i thought it would so no harm no foul. just wish larry and chris giving me room to get thru close to the end there didnt end badly when they got to turn 4.
