Qual:

Well, I achieved my goal of not qualifying last .... Of course I would like to have done better, but I'm just not at that level yet. Couldn't match my testing pace, where I was in the :38s consistently. Not like that would have mattered anyway -- I still would have been way down the order. I would like to apologize to those folks I got in the way of. Also to anyone whose lap I ruined.

Race:

Again, goal achieved. I survived the first race. Another lap or two and I'm sure Pablo would have been right on my tail trying to get by me.

All in all, I had fun, which is the important bit.

Bad qualy, due to no practice, had a great start, passed about 6+ cars and got punted into T-1... Still had fun trying to get some laps for Race 2... Congrats winners.

First off I would like to apologise to Omar for the punt, and also for not serving a drive through during the first race. This wans't intentional, and occured through my possible misconception of the punt rule. I have no problem with the race Stewards decision, and was happy to do my drive through when informed.

However, I would like to ask for clarification, as I've always interpreted the punt rule being put in place for nose to tail contact, with the driver causing the contact taking the drive through. When it occured, I read the incident with Omar as side contact with Omar making contact with me, rather than the other way about. To avoid Omar when he veered across, I would've had to slam on my brakes, a no-no at the first bend I would have thought, or gone off track.

As previously mentioned, I'm happy with the ruling on the incident, but just so I'm aware for any future occurences... If I am following a car and there is ANY contact, be it side or rear, and even if I didn't make contact, ie, the contact was made with me, then because I am behind, I serve the drive through?

On to the racing..

I was happy with the first race, as I ran a consistant, if slow pace, and finished 11th, which I'm happy with.

The second race wasn't so satisfying. I had a good run with Bob, but I think he'll agree the winner was the one who made the least errors.

Congratulations to the podium - I wish I knew where you got your pace from - amazing skill.

Hmmmm. Didnt realize these cars were front wheel drive, until I experienced the massive torque-steer. I promise to practice for the next one. Sorry to anyone I fked up in race #2.

Managed to get my best lap ever in qualli and started from 8th.

First few laps I was battling with Martin (great racing mate) and when he overtook me, another great chase between me and Colin started. Colin pass me as well and now another car following me in very close proximity was Bob. I was holding him up until second to last lap when I went off track and from 7th was 12 in just few seconds.

Anyway nice racing with you guys.

I am a bit dissapointed with the level of racing for these 2 races.. I mean ok its WTC and in real life the driving is dirty and rough but do yall have to drive like that aswell? What i noticed the most was how some drivers were just all too happy to get up along side and just bump me off with the side of your car and avoid a drive through. One driver in particular who I am not happy with is OTHR Ales Kurant who went on to get a podium in race 1. If thats the way you want to get podiums go for it but its dirty !

So anyway, i was pushed off on the final corner of lap 1 and had to drive hard, on lap 4 Jim Fisher was next to get involved in accident with omar and while recovering i was driving passed the outside for position as he was also the slower car now and Jim jinxed to the left into my car in a braking zone and pushed me onto the grass and off the track ..

hard work again to come back but managed to salvage some good racing with Colin pearson and was trying hard to get 8th and start on pole for race 2 but couldnt get passed.

I must have different replay from you Heinz. Mine shows that you jinxed to the right, hit the side of my car then bounced onto the grass! I had the inside line - I dont believe you expected me just to give it up?

If you see it any diffently, you should lodge a complaint.

Nope, no different. Have called it a racing incident, sorry to have mentioned it in post race.

Oh, come on Heinz. It was you, who made a mistake braking late into last corner and ran wide. When i got along side you, you turned back onto racing line. I had no where to go. I´m sorry, but i´m not going to serve DT for your mistake.
