Nurburgring GT

That was definitely the craziest and most intense race I've been in on R2P...I'm still shaking :). I started 4th, I knew I had nothing for Conor so I just tried to be patient and get a podium. Then the wrath of Volvos hit. 2nd turn one punted a Caddy which I had to avoid off track which cost me a few spots. Then one decided to cut me off spinning me while I was trying to pass them going into the chicane at the end of lap one. That point I was like 13th and pretty furious. Beginning of lap two I spun at turn two...15th place. I tried to carve my way through the field but it was hard. One Volvo who had just served a stop and go came out right in front of me and within a lap or two punted another Cadillac that I had to avoid. A Volvo spun in the chicane blocking the entire track forcing me to make an evasive maneuver. One spun off turn one and while trying to rejoin almost ran me off the road. Another one got tangled with another Caddy at the 180 which almost blocked the track. Not sure what it was, maybe it was just that there were so many and that they had such a different driving line (??). Either way, I managed to get into 4th after the last Volvo/Caddy accident probably 10 or so seconds behind third. The next 12 laps I slowly reeled him in and it looked like I was going to come up short until he got slowed way down by another Volvo. That point I was right on his bumper. The next lap going into the chicane he claimed the inside line and I took the outside, but managed to stay ahead exiting. Then two nervous laps to the finish just praying my computer wouldn't have another disco problem.

Had alot of stuff going on today, didnt make it online until 2 min before quallifying. without any practice i had to make big changes to the setup that I thought might make the car driveable. ended up not finishing and was told to park it.

Probably one of my worst races in R2P. I could not develop a proper setup and had a very bad car, was way off the pace.

Off race for me too. I had practiced in the low 09s, and I usually gain a little bit on the race server. But this race, with the same setup, I could just barely get into the 09s, and then only one time, so was quite disappointed about that.

Other than that, I ran reasonably consistently. Got punted one time out of T1 resulting in some body damage but no suspension of engine damage. The funniest thing was that I popped the LF tire exiting the the final corner before the checker. As I was the last car on the lead lap and everyone else was finished, it didn't impact me at all. It does tell me that I'm probably over-driving the car in the corners. Gotta work on that.

weird change for me from the Euro race to the USA race... same exact set up and couldnt come close to the times I ran in the earlier Euro race.... Qualified lousy, in 12th... after 1 lap, was up into 7th... new from reading the Euro race post race notes, tires were going to be an issue... by lap 5 I was in 5th, caught Omar and someone in a Caddy at the chicane.. then made the pass on both in the last turn... drag raced Omar to the little kink at the end of the front straight.. missed my braking point and off the end of the track I went.. reversed out and cam back on perpendicular to the track, but was given a drive through for unsafe track re entrance... did the drive through while in 10th place... came out in 13th.. and kept with the theory that tires were going to be an issue... Really tried to drive smooth and not use up the tires.. made it up to 10th, but that was it. Wish I was driving something other than the Volvo, but cant seem to get a handle on the big torque cars with my driving style for some reason... Was probably really a top 5 car, but inexperience and over excitement caused me to throw it away... lucky to be in top 10

That was probably me Matthew, dunno, but I got punted in the last chicane while battling for 3rd. pos. Then got caught up due to the punt by Dany Gomez and while trying to pass him, I touched him just enough to spin him...Did my D-T, and lost 5 pos....After some laps I was making my way up to 6th. and spun likes 6 times and instead of going forward I was going backwards... xD.... Then after awhile I was already in 7th. and in last lap, my tire blew in the last corner and lost 2 positions finishing in 9th...But like they said, at least I finished... Went last night to the gym to blow some steam off, but I paid the price today in the morning races. :D
