WTC: Monza #1

Despite putting in a personal best during Qualifying, I was still 1.5 seconds of the leaders pace, and in 8th place! I just dont know how you guys can go so fast!

Race 1 was going fine 'till I was punted resulting in a damaged car and a lonely run to the finish line.

Race 2 had an excellent, and close battle with Carlos during which we exchanged places a couple of times. Thanks for leaving room when I passed you Carlos - excellent driving, and very sporting. Got punted again, which put paid to my race with Carlos, and again, the resulting damage put paid to the rest of my race.

As a footnote, I'm noticing an increase of drivers not taking a drive through after punting - this has happened to me in my last three races. Whilst, personally Ive always felt it a bit petty to lodge a complaint, I've now decided to bring any incident to the officials attention. Clearly if drivers get away with punting, its encouraging less careful driving.

Race 1

i started in 4 pos which very fast was pos 14.
i was too slow off the line and all others bast past me.

then samething happened going into Ascari cicane. the backend steped out and i was on the grass. waited for the hole field to pass and then started my climb up to 7 pos from 19. i was happy for that.

race2
as off the result off race 1 i started in 2 pos. again i was slow off the line and down too 10 pos.
going into the first cicane after T1 i got punt from behind
from a Honda car, lucky for him i did not loose control but
doing this when my car is "very" light in the back can very easy result in a spin.
after that i had a same good raceing before my first littel
error, then another one .
i am happy for the result at the end.
i watched the replay afterwords and one honda man should try too drive a littel more like a gentelman.
i wounder if he has tried rallycross?

Iam happy for my result because the cheyv are not easy too drive fast.

I couldn't quite get down to my best time so I started 16th. Monza is all about attrition so I didn't really push to hard.

As expected there was plenty of attrition to be had resulting in a nice 10th place finish.

btw: Let's watch the backing up into a straight.
