lol easily one of the worst races in my career....

this is just a strange car to drive. i had little bit of understeer into a turn, but the oversteer out of it. And then sometimes too much oversteer into a turn.

Lost the rear in the fast section on lap 1 and tagged the barrier. went down hill from there...as I had rear suspension damage. So the weird characteristics I was all ready having were magnified with the damage!

Just tried to keep it on the road, and I lost it in the gravel traps a few times - which are mammoth! I don't know how i got unstuck a few times, not to mention not blow the motor.

Anyway, brought it home in 8th. Glad that is over!

Oh, and before I forget - the website said this was going to be a 25 lap race, and then it turned out being 25 minutes? Was that correct?

I thought it was going to be 25 laps, so i loaded up way too much fuel!

I see I see. My bad I guess - It never showed a pre-race post for me in my portal. So I never checked it!

Oh well, not that it made much difference in my race lol

I'm having a problem getting to grips with these cars. I realise I'm slow, but I can usually complete a race - not in these cars however. I seem to have an incident on every lap. Its a pity as it looks like they are great to race when you can handle them.

It was (mostly) a great race for me, although it all went a bit wrong towards the end.

For a large chunk of the race I was running 3rd, on course for a rare podium. But Mike Guzman was closing in fast and keen to pass. For a few laps we had a ding-bong battle, in some places I was faster, in others Mike. All shaping up for an epic battle.

On lap 15 we approached a car to lap; in my view, this was likely to be the defining moment, and that's how it turned out. The car in front ran a bit wide exiting T3 and spun back on to the track... and into my path. Eeek! I swerved to avoid, but this unsettled my car and I had a semi-spin of my own. And so Mike got by and built up a lead I'd never close. Ah well, a shame for it to end that way, but just one of those things that can happen in racing.

Congrats to Sam for another dominant win - four out of four - and for winning the first CMC series. Fantastic stuff. :)

Thanks to everyone else for supporting CMC British F3. It's appreciated.

It was a great series Alan, pity my gas pedal was bit limp in quali and before the end it was broken. So i couldn't participate and i saw the whole race. There were not so much battles only a bit extrem situation between Mike, Alan and Tony.

Lonely in 2nd is all i can say lol, after getting a good start i had Sam in my sights for 1-2 laps, but then just settled in since i knew i wouldn't catch him and built my lead on 3rd.

Only real incident i came across was turn 1 someone went in to hot and spun out (think it was Ryan), i had to make a quick decision not to crash into him and ruin my race. Other then that very smooth and pretty boring, but happy with 2nd.

Congrats to Sam for the win and for the overall win in the series, goodjob.
