Orchard Lake GP Multiclass
24 Dec 2016 — Bill Miller logged nine laps at the front of the Unlimited class in a first-place run in the Orchard Lake GP Multiclass.
Driving the Mack, Miller drove nearly equal parts of 16 laps total leading Ricardo Gomes after engaging and passing him on lap 10. Miller cleared Gomes and into first place on lap 10, and held it the remaining eight laps to the checkered flag.
Ricardo Gomes raced at the front of the Unlimited field most of all drivers, leading nine of 18 laps but ultimately settling for second place.
Gomes spent nearly equal parts of 16 laps total leading Bill Miller after being caught by him on the first lap. Driving the Mack, Gomes fended off a prolonged attack by Miller in the middle stages, staying just a car length ahead of him over a continuous run of five laps. Ultimately Gomes lost the spot on lap 10 and settled into second the nine laps running to the finish.
Bruno Chacon captured third place in the Unlimited class.
