28 Dec 2016 — Jozsef Rebok logged seven laps at the front in a first-place run in the Croft FunCup.
Rebok mixed it up with Eduardo Beninca in a prolonged fight for the race lead from the middle stages, sparring over a stretch of 16 laps. Rebok spent nearly equal parts leading Beninca after being caught by him on the first lap. Rebok fended off a prolonged challenge by Beninca in the beginning, staying just an apex ahead of him over a solid run of five laps. After losing the spot on lap 6, Rebok got around Beninca and into first place on lap 15, and controlled it the remaining lap to the conclusion.
Eduardo Beninca led all drivers most for nine of 16 laps but ultimately settled for second place.
Beninca swapped leads with Jozsef Rebok in a long and persistent battle for the race lead starting midway through, running within car lengths of each other over a range of 16 laps. Beninca spent nearly equal parts leading Rebok after engaging and passing him on lap 6. Ultimately Beninca lost the spot on lap 15 and settled into second the couple laps running to the checkered flag.
