Incredible pace by the Leaders!
I did my best to keep up with then trying to earn some speed and learn their lines.
I was pushing too hard, using too much curbs and decided to slow down and keep a safe pace.
+0.642 off the fastest lap during the race is a respectable time and gives me hope to learn more ,improve and get to the +0.500 mark.

Lonely race after lap 5 not much to say, just my usual lack of concentration when running alone on the track.

Congratulations Daniel Gomes for driver and team titles.
When it has to be nobody will make things diferent. I was sleeping and supposed not to race but 10 min before race start i wakked up with my teammates on Team Speak as magic and whent for race. Im really happy to see title in your hands and much more ending championship in 4th place, a victory for someone who raced for fun with almost no practice time before races. Good to race with you all guys and hoppe to see you again soon.

Its was a surprise race for me. I had no idea I'd finish 2ed there going into that race. Like some others, I thought I'd have to pit but as half way came and went, I thought I'd just stay out and go for it. The last 30 or so laps I was hanging for deal fricking life! Ties so worn if I over drove it just by a hair, I knew I would go around. Hung on for a hard driven 2ed place finish. Wow, was I surprised!

Great fun battling with Zak through out this one. The lack of racing for a month sure got the better of me and inconsitancy set in for the night. Gave Zak the win on a silver plate but it was all fun :-)

Six days without a race after an awful finish, backed up with a bout of the flu over the weekend had me an unhappy camper. Having the quality of race I had today definitely cleared all that out!

Made a good start and managed to avoid some rather ambitious lunges in the first few corners. Barney sneaked up my inside in the middle sector though and I had to chase him and Milan for a few laps.

Had a brilliant sequence of corners against Barney on lap four or five. Got a run on him on the home straight and the move didn't finish till turn four around forty seconds later. Some fantastic side by side racing and criss-crossing. Will have to make a video of that.

Once I cleared Barney, I set after Milan. It took a few laps and managed to haul up to his gearbox. From there to the end, it was try to pass my championship rival - but to no avail. Hats off to you Milan! You left me just the width of a fBMW car to work with. It was an excellent close battle between the two of us.

Unfortunately for me, he seemed to have an extra va-va-voom on the exit of the last turn so I couldn't get him down there. Have too much respect to do something dangerous and stupid.

Thought I might of had a chance on the last lap when I tried to get him off-line into the last but again, he just did enough. Epic stuff mate. A pleasure to race against you!

setup, had to learn track 1st :D

Q: 4th place which was pretty good for me.

R: Great start...got one place and waited for Vedran and Laki to make a mistake. I've got lucky when they both overshoot the slowest corner. I took the lead, but not for long because I saw Marin closing the gap very fast. He overtook me when I was trying to hold defensive line. He quickly build 2 seconds lead but threw it all away in final laps. He made a mistake in first corner which enabled me to get close to him. Last lap I was on his bumper and finished 0.1 seconds behind.

Very nice race, congrats to podium.

I love this track!......at least it was good to me last night. Fortunately I just happened to hit on a very stable setup after almost giving up on being able to survive this one. I had tried all car options and nothing felt good at all. But my GTA Jr ended up being fast and it felt great to run up front for a change.

Had a ball chasing Barret and Danny for the first 16 laps (running 4th) - I could get to them, but they didn't make any mistakes to give me a chance to pass.....so, I pitted a couple of laps earlier than planned, hoping I would exit with a clear track. This strategy worked perfectly, allowing me to push hard with few incidents. Only lost it once, right after squeezing past Michael K late in the race - no damage though, and was able to bring her home in 2nd (thrilled) - a blast racing with you guys!

ps. on qualy i made a speed limit infraction..for one time...

Q. Cant complain with 4th although I was 3 10ths up on my final run and then blew itin sector 2. Felt that a low 30 was possible but not my day.

Race. Got a great start getting past Zak before T1 and slotted in behind Tristan. Dave made a small mistake around lap6 or 7 letting both tristan and I through which was a relief for me as Zak was applying pressure and I thought it might be a good idea to let my quicker team mate by, but now with Dave acting as my rear guard I settled down to concentrate on tristan and see if I could pressure him into a mistake. I finnaly got passed him when we came up against a back marker after the T1 and I made a pass through the gap between them as Tristan got held up, I felt I could get a gap to Tristan but a couple of laps later I made a big mistake before the hairpin and span the car off the curbing, lucky I didnt hit anything. Back behind Tristan again and no opportunity to pass until the final stint where, again I got a good run on Tristan out of T1, we swapped positions a couple of times through sector 1 but I finally made it stick, excellent driving from Tristan. Managed to gap him by a second almost immediately but couldnt catch Zak at all. Grats to all and well done Zak.

Surprised to have gotten pole considering I chose the wrong tires! I didn't test except for this morning, so I wasn't sure if med-softs or softs would make the distance on a 2-stopper... In the end I picked med-hards and just went with it.

David got an excellent start at the green, like a robot with the LC button there, and easily took the lead into T1. I followed until he had to make a big correction to avoid spinning in sector 2 a few laps in.

I then held the boost at 5 and measured my pace. Allen and Zak kept going at around the same lap times as I, so in the first stint I thought hey maybe I have a chance for a win.

However, in stint 2, Allen found more speed and we battled for a couple of laps, both times in sector 1. I bumped Allen braking deep into the final corner on one lap (sorry mate!) and inflicted yellow damage to my nose. I adjusted the front wing at the second stop, but this did not help so much. I could not break into the 1:30s, and lacked the grip I needed to attack Allen. I was driving like I was attacking, just to keep up with him!

Zak was waaay ahead after his first stop. Kudos on your speed!

Oh well, tire lesson learnt. See you guys in Melbourne.

Well done AL CANAL on the F2 Championship!!! Grats

Well, I should have won that race, but Al was once again too wily for all of us.

I stayed with Al in the first stint, I surprised myself. Then just before pits Al spun and I got by. Pitted with a 3 sec lead, left pits with a 9 sec lead. Then I should have won, but no! Al was too good for me. For the first 10 laps or so of the second stint I maintained a decent gap. Then I made a couple of small mistakes, but Al also got onto his boost button. Problem is, I don't have buttons mapped for boost. What a twit! Al caught me, passed me, and that was that.
Well done Al, it was a really good race! My best this season in F2.
Also well done Daniel on 3rd (first F2 race?). And well done everyone else.

LOL, beat that for getting same time in Qualifying and Race. Stayed with Caner till the pit stop and then he managed an extra lap from the full tank which opened a slight gap after the stop and from there I was 2nd.
