As we are looking for a close championship, we want to use weight penalty and grid inversion. Grid inversion
Weight penalty
1º +25 kg
6º -5 kg
Weight penalty limit will be 50 Kgs. |

Pablo, it isn't possible to take weight off via admin commands. The only way is what NAGT used which was upgrades but these aren't in the skoda mod. At team fog we ran a skoda champ, and used 1st - 60kg's
up to around 40kg's there wasn't much drop off in time. We also ran the same for what people had in championship standings, so going into race 2 sometimes people had 100kg's added to their car. But it worked as we ended up with normally 10-15 guys all within 1 second of the quickest guys lap times. |

With 100kg not possible to drive. With 70-80 much better. But I like 50kg limit:) |

Sam, I think you didn't understand what I want to say or I don't know how to explain it properly :) Imagine that you finish 1º & 1º at Varano (your GP result would be 1º). You would have 25 kg for Lienz race. You win both races again at Lienz. You would have 50 kg for Laguna Seca. At Laguna Seca you DNF both races and your GP result is about 14º. We would take you off 25 kg and your weight penaly for Oulton race would be 25 kg. I hope I have explained it well :) Weight penalty is based on GP results, not on championship standings. I also ran a spanish championship with Skoda and we had 100 kg limit. Fastest people complained because the car was hard to drive and was difficult to be competitive. Of course they weren't the fastest drivers and they didn't have fun. This was two years ago, with old Skoda physics. At Lienz I did a 1:03, but I'm about 0.5s slower with 50 kg, I think that difference is enough to equal things a little. I think more weight means no fun. We can limit weight to 60 kg and give weight to more positions (for example from 1st to 6th) if most people want. |

Ah I see, 100kg's does make the skodas slower but it did make it better for closer racing, however I think your system will work too |

can't be bad, in the lead of the championship yet less weight :) 40kg's doesn't really make much of difference, maybe few tenths.. |
