I actually did race for real in my life.
Back when it was affordable.
In 1988, I ran in the Quebec Honda/Michelin Series.
That was a show room stock mono type road racing class. All stock Honda Civic.
I had the time of my life for 15,000 bucks.
Today, if you want to do something similar... if you don't have 45,000 dollars... stay home and play rFactor.
You can check it out here:
Where, at the bottom, you can read that I finished 2nd in class
Pos - Car# - Driver - Points
1 - 58 - Yves Lessard - 69
2 - 65 - Gilles Lalonde - 58
3 - 39 - Matt Levine - 54
and so on...
It was real fun!
I wrote some more on the Blog page and if you check the "Garage" tab, the background picture is less cluttered so you can see me in action! The red & white out of the 13th at Mont-Tremblant.
