Race report
W-GT3: Donington Park on Aug 10, 2009
Car: Porsche 997 GT3. Class: WGT3. Start: 16. Finish: 15. Laps: 21.

Congrats to the podium,

Wish I could say that this was a great race.

Horrible qualifier, while the conditions were bad in practice... during the qualifier it seemed like a monsoon had hit the track and all the adjustments made for the wet were useless.

Race: - Rolling start... started out with several cars lagging badly and causing unsafe conditions for the last 4 or 5 racers... it got so bad that just before the line I drove through 2 cars... one appearing in front of me and the second reappearing in back... as we progressed at race speed I was punted off after the Kraner curves...

That pretty much was my race... I attempted to rejoin and end up bridging the gap and running off... bridging and running off... fortunately I did'nt run anybody off myself... everyone was pretty patient with me.. thanks

I notice that the wet tires wear out differently than their dry counterparts... and when they go your gone... no warning..

But enough crying...

I look forward to the next round and I know for a fact it should be dry.

See you all then

G.
