Race report
Fuji GT1 on Mar 19, 2010
Car: Aston Martin DBR9. Class: GT1. Start: 6. Finish: 5. Laps: 38.

Congratulations Formula 05 and Jeffrey, we would have liked to have challenged you for the team title but you guys were just far too strong for us, a thoroughly deserved championship.
I think this was my first rFactor Sports Car series and the Enduracers mod was a baptism of fire! I really struggled in the early races and couldn't finish without spinning at some point, but as the series went on I started to get more in tune with the car and found a set-up that worked for me, atleast one that I could control most of the time anyway.
This last race was a good one for me, I got a PB in quali and after starting from 7th I moved up to 3rd quite early in the race after Zak and Caner dropped back. I knew they'd be back later, there was nothing I could do about that, but I kept up a solid race pace and didn't make any mistakes. Zak and Caner both caught and passed me and shortly after that I got a black screen on the straight, I tried to stay straight and gradually braked, when the screen came back I was on the grass outside the braking zone of T1, I had slowed it enough to just get back on track and make the turn ok though so no harm done. It just allowed Sam to close to about 8 seconds behind me, there was still a long way to go and I was worried for a minute because I had to conserve some fuel at some point. I managed to keep up my pace, maintain the gap and manage the fuel so I was very happy with the way I finished.
Grats once again Jeffrey on another fine win.
