Race report
Team Kamikaze ISCC: Laguna Seca on Dec 19, 2009
Car: Porsche RS Spyder. Class: P2. Start: 1. Finish: 1. Laps: 68.

Congratulations to Joao, Eduardo, and Steve for their respective class wins.

There was drama in the P1 class. Garret suffers a "mechanical" early on. Soon thereafter, Tim B.- while taking off on a blistering pace- suffers the same fate. Barry inherits the lead. Around the 50 minute-to-go mark, Barry pits. Then as the pit stops begin to cycle I saw him pit again. Daniel Parsons caught up to me after I self-spun while trying to pass a GT1- my own fault. Then I guess Daniel had his share of issues late in the race. Meanwhile Mike E. was lurking in the back. A wild prototype race.

Then there's Steve "Moving Chicane" Davis.... I'll save that for another day. :P

The GT drivers drove a great race and made it easy to pass for the prototypes. At a track like this with 4 classes, it's all about traffic management, not speed.

Great race. Lots of action as usual. This track never bores, especially with 4 classes.
