Due to an impending deadline that will be approaching early next year, I needed to "act soon or forever hold my peace (piece? either one).
I haven't been riding much this year, and I'm disappointed about that. One thing led to another, then the Florida "off season riding months" were here (June-July-August, way too miserable to ride). I got in a great 2-wheeled trip over the holiday weekend at the beginning of September, put in a couple hundred miles thru north Georgia and Tennessee to see some racing and visit some friends, and that inspired me to get back in the saddle more and do some more riding when my schedule free'd up.

So what the hell, I sign up and read all the rules. Entered the race, finished not last (actually 11th, right behind Chris Chappell I just noticed! Ha ha, still chasin' that bastid), and that was all she wrote.
Next day I paid my one year in advance Premium membership.
